HOW THESE ARE MADE — honestly: each piece is a plain single-crochet panel in cream, decorated with flat appliqué motifs that you crochet separately and sew on. Every motif has its own full pattern in the pack’s Motif Library — nothing is glued and nothing is surface-embellished afterwards. If you can make a single crochet and sew a seam, you can make every piece in this pack.
🌿 DESIGN 1 — FLORAL BOOKMARK
A little garden on a 6 × 22 cm cream panel: a five-petal flower, rose buds, small daisies, stems, berry sprigs and leaves in two greens — finished with a hand-knotted cream fringe (about 29 cm overall). Full placement list AND a placement diagram, so your garden lands exactly where ours does.
🌊 DESIGN 2 — SEAHORSE BOOKMARK
The same cream panel becomes a rockpool: a big teal seahorse (shaped strip, head, snout and fin — all patterned, all sewn flat), two starfish, shells, coral sprigs, seaweed, bubbles and a band of blue waves along the base, finished with a two-tone teal-and-cream tassel (about 30 cm overall).
📖 DESIGN 3 — BOOK SLEEVE, TWO SIZES
Standard ≈ 17 × 24 cm — fits books up to 15 × 23 cm (most paperbacks and novels). Large ≈ 20 × 27 cm — fits books up to 18 × 26 cm (large hardcovers and cookbooks). Garden scene on the top of the front panel, sea scene below — fish, a small sea turtle, coral, shells and seaweed — with dust-jacket-style inside flaps so the covers slide in, and a strap that folds over the top and tucks through the loop band to close.

📏 GAUGE & SIZES: 20 sc × 22 rows = 10 cm in DK (8 ply) cotton with a 4.0 mm hook. US terms throughout, with UK equivalents in the table up front.
🧵 YARN: DK cotton in 8 colours — Cream, Blossom Pink, Mustard, Leaf Green, Sage Green, Teal, Coral Pink, Sky Blue. The yarn table sits right up front: per piece and per colour, in metres, grams and 50 g balls, all worked out stitch by stitch. Two balls of Cream and one of everything else makes the whole pack.
