Who we are
Alandtina is an Aussie family shop operated by Al and Tina, at alandtina.com. This policy explains what personal information our website collects and how it is used.

Payments are handled by Paddle — not by us
All payments on this site are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. When you check out, you give your payment details to Paddle, not to us. We never see, receive, or store your card or bank details. Paddle processes your information under its own privacy policy, which is shown or linked during checkout.
What we do collect
- Order information: your name, email address, country, and what you purchased — so we can deliver your downloads, send your order and download emails, and help you if something goes wrong.
- Account information: when you buy or register, an account is created with your name and email address, plus a password (stored securely hashed — we can’t see it), your order history and your Downloads library.
- Messages: if you email or message us, we keep that correspondence so we can answer you and remember what we sorted out.
- Basic site statistics: standard, privacy-respecting statistics about visits (such as pages viewed and approximate location by country) to help us understand which products people enjoy. We do not build advertising profiles of visitors, and we do not sell personal information — ever.
How we use it
Only to run the shop: delivering your products, providing your account and downloads, answering your questions, meeting our legal and tax-record obligations as a business, and improving the shop. We do not send marketing email unless you have specifically signed up for it, and any marketing email will always carry an unsubscribe link.
Who else sees it
- Paddle — payments, tax calculation, receipts and fraud prevention (as seller of record).
- Our hosting and email providers — the companies that keep the website (hosted with GoDaddy) and the shop inbox running, acting on our instructions.
- Authorities — only if the law genuinely requires it.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Cookies
The site uses the cookies it needs to work — keeping you signed in, remembering your cart, and completing checkout (Paddle’s checkout uses its own cookies). If analytics cookies are in use, they are for aggregate statistics only. You can block cookies in your browser; the shop will still work, though sign-in and checkout may be less smooth.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as business and tax record-keeping requires. Account information is kept while your account exists; contact us if you’d like your account and associated personal information deleted (order records we must legally retain will be kept for that purpose only).
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Email alandtina.shop@gmail.com and we’ll sort it out. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights under local privacy law — we will honour reasonable requests regardless of where you are.
Children
Our stories and patterns are made for families, but purchases are made by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we’ll update this page and note the new date at the top.
