Who we are

Alandtina is an Aussie family shop operated by Al and Tina (“we”, “us”, “our”). We create and sell original digital downloads — knitting, crochet and macramé patterns, bedtime story books, read-aloud audio, and printable craft kits — through this website, alandtina.com.

What you are buying

Every product in this shop is a digital download. Nothing physical is posted or shipped. Each product page states exactly what the purchase includes — for example, a pattern PDF (with its page count), a story PDF, MP3 audio files, or a bundle of these — and that description is part of what you are buying.

Some of our listing photos are AI-generated concept images showing the finished item as designed, and our products are created with the help of an AI generator. The written patterns, stories and audio you receive are the real deliverables, as described on each product page.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown on each product page in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is calculated and added at checkout where it applies. Payments on this site are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record — Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase, handles your payment, and will appear on your receipt and card statement. Your contract for the purchase is with Paddle as seller of record, and these terms apply alongside Paddle’s buyer terms.

Prices don’t include tax. If your state or country charges sales tax or VAT on digital downloads, it will be added at checkout and shown in full before you pay. All taxes are collected and remitted by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record.

Delivery

Delivery is by instant download — see our Refund & Digital Delivery Policy for the full details. In short: when your payment completes, your download links appear on the confirmation page and are emailed to you, and your files wait in your account’s Downloads section. Downloads require you to be signed in to your account, each purchase allows up to 10 downloads of each file, and your download links never expire. If you check out as a guest, an account is created for you automatically so your files are always there when you sign in.

Your licence to use our products

When you buy a product, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to download it and use it as set out here:

Patterns and printables: make as many finished items as you like for yourself or as gifts. You may sell finished items you have made from our knitting, crochet and macramé patterns in small batches; we just ask that you credit Alandtina as the pattern designer. Finished items may not be mass-produced for large-scale commercial sale. The digital files themselves, and printed copies of the patterns, may not be shared, resold or redistributed.
Stories and audio: enjoy them in your own household. The files may not be shared, resold, broadcast, or uploaded anywhere.

All products remain the intellectual property of Alandtina. Buying a download does not transfer any ownership of the underlying work.

Refunds

Our Refund & Digital Delivery Policy (a separate page on this site) forms part of these terms. In short: because our products are instant digital downloads, all sales are final and we don’t offer refunds for change of mind — but if a file is faulty, can’t be delivered or accessed, or isn’t what its product page described, we will resend or repair it, or refund you in full. You will never be left out of pocket by a faulty product.

Fair use of the site

Please don’t misuse the site — no attempting to access other customers’ accounts or downloads, no scraping or bulk downloading beyond your own purchased products, and no use of our products or content in ways that infringe anyone’s rights.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a purchase is limited to the price of the product concerned. We are not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of downloaded files or finished items made from our patterns.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA.
