🦆 WHAT YOU MAKE — A THREE-PIECE SET
• The hooded platypus romper — knitted top-down in the round in rich warm brown, with a cream tummy, a real pocket knitted into the body (never sewn on), and the puggle riding inside it. The hood carries the platypus’ famous duck bill — a shaped, flat knitted panel in slate grey-brown with embroidered nostrils — and two little dark eyes worked into the hood itself. A short button placket at the neck, cuffed legs with little feet free (no enclosed feet), and — on purpose — no tail: babies spend their days lying on their backs, so this platypus keeps things comfy.
• The mini puggle toy — a baby platypus is called a puggle, and this one is a pocket-sized softie with its own little bill, a cream belly worked in as you knit, and an embroidered face (no safety eyes, so it is baby-safe).
