Each of the 12 patterns includes:

Skill level: Confident beginner. Cotton or cotton-blend DK / light-worsted yarn, 3.5 mm (US E-4) hook (cotton recommended near hot drinks). Finished sizes: mug cozies fit mugs about 8.5 cm (3.5 in) diameter and stand about 8 cm tall; bottle cozies fit bottles about 6.5 cm (2.5 in) diameter and stand about 12 cm tall. Honest notes from the patterns: a cozy is a light insulator and grip helper, not an oven mitt or heat-proof holder; mugs and bottles are not included; embroider eyes for items used by children under 3.
