Description
π Aussie Christmas Crochet Vol 3 β 12 original crochet patterns (PDF, 48 pages).
A whole Aussie Christmas crew to crochet β twelve amigurumi animals dressed for the day, from our Aussie family shop. Unlike flat ornaments, these are small stuffed 3D plush toys: a sphere-ladder body and head for every animal, with ears, muzzles, limbs, hats and scarves sewn on piece by piece. Each one is a whimsical, hand-crocheted keepsake β giftable, collectable, and made to be squeezed, lined up on the mantel, tucked into stockings and brought out every Christmas.
This collection includes 12 original patterns: Koala in a Santa Hat (about 12 cm), Kangaroo with a Joey in a Christmas Pouch (about 13 cm; joey about 5 cm), Wombat wearing a Holly Collar (about 11 cm), Quokka holding a Mini Bauble (about 11 cm), Bilby with Long Ears and a Ribbon (about 14 cm including ears), Cockatoo with a Tinsel Crest (about 13 cm), Kookaburra Santa (about 12 cm), Platypus in a Christmas Scarf (about 11 cm), Echidna with Bauble Spikes (about 11 cm, plus spikes), Wallaby with a Gift Box (about 12 cm), Tassie Devil in a Santa Suit (about 11 cm) and Emu with a Garland Necklace (about 14 cm).
Each of the 12 patterns includes:
β’ Its own dedicated solo photo β every animal photographed individually, no repeats
β’ Pattern-at-a-glance box (type, honest finished size from the stated gauge, pieces, yarn, level)
β’ Full round-by-round instructions in US crochet terms ONLY, with the stitch count stated at the end of EVERY round and row (727 counted rounds and rows in this book)
β’ Asserted amigurumi sphere ladders for bodies and heads (magic ring increases to a stated maximum, plain rounds, mirror decreases), plus heads, ears, muzzles and limbs as separate small pieces with their own counts
β’ Counted extras: the joey's pouch with its stocking-red trim, the echidna's 6 tiny bauble balls (3 red, 3 gold) sewn among 8 cream spikes, and the emu's 60-chain garland necklace with 5 bauble balls and 5 leaves
β’ Step-by-step assembly and a maker's tip for every animal
β’ An honest eyes note in every pattern: safety eyes are fine for older children and collectors β embroidered eyes recommended if the toy is for a child under 3
Crochet one animal as a weekend holiday activity, work through the crew as a DIY December project, or make the whole set as handmade Christmas gifts β a koala for a grandchild overseas, a quokka for the friend who collects them, a full Australian crew for the mantel. The animals are Australia's own β koalas, kangaroos, wombats, quokkas, bilbies, cockatoos, kookaburras, platypuses, echidnas, wallabies, Tassie devils and emus β dressed for an Aussie Christmas, and Aussie makers and Australia-lovers alike will recognise every face. DK / light-worsted yarn, a 3.5 mm (US E-4) hook and a bag of fibre fill are all you need.
Skill level: Confident beginner. If you can work a magic ring, single crochet, increases and decreases, you can make this crew.
CROCHET PATTERN only β not finished items. This is a digital PDF download; no physical item will be shipped.
