Description

Three tiny angels in native-flower skirts — a waratah, a wattle and a banksia, each made a completely different way. 🧶

WHAT’S INCLUDED
A 17-page PDF crochet pattern for all three mini angel ornaments, with every stitch count generated from the pattern’s data model and checked, full round-by-round instructions, and stitch charts for both gum-leaf wings. Each mini is a set of small crocheted pieces sewn together and hung by her own crocheted loop — no stands, no wire, no plastic parts.

THE THREE MINIS
• Waratah Petal-Skirt Angel (about 6.9 cm): a separate stuffed torso and a sewn-on skirt — one Wattle Gold waistband round, Waratah Red rounds, and a hem of 12 counted petal points. Pointed gum-leaf wings, one bun, and a stem halo.
• Wattle-Bobble Angel (about 6.9 cm): a one-piece bell dress worked bottom-up in hdc, its hem a full round of 36 counted 5-dc bobbles in Wattle Gold — one bobble over every hem stitch. A tiny wattle sprig (a small crocheted motif) is stitched flat to the bodice, with a matching sprig on her cap. Rounded gum-leaf wings — and no halo; she hangs by a loop from the top of her head.
• Banksia Fringe Angel (about 8.5 cm): a one-piece dress worked top-down, its skirt 66 counted cut-and-tied fringe strands (33 Banksia Orange + 33 Wattle Gold) tied into two rounds, like a banksia spike. Round disc wings edged in gold, two tiny side buns, and a flat halo ring sewn flat to her cap with the hanging loop threaded through it.

Every face is embroidered — tiny closed-curve eyes, no plastic safety eyes, no buttons. Every wing is crocheted: pointed gum leaves, rounded gum leaves, and plain gold-edged discs — never feathers.

YARN & SIZES
DK (8-ply) cotton with a 4.0 mm hook, gauge 20 sc × 24 rows = 10 cm. The whole set takes 2,560 counted stitches and strands, about 77.5 m of yarn in total — one 50 g ball of each of the eight colours (Cream, White, Wattle Gold, Skin Tone, Soft Brown, Waratah Red, Gum Leaf Sage, Banksia Orange) makes all three minis with yarn to spare. The PDF opens with the full per-mini and per-colour yarn tables, so you can gather everything before you start.

SKILL LEVEL
Confident beginner to intermediate: magic ring, working in continuous rounds, increases and decreases, a 5-dc bobble (fully explained), flat width-model wings with charts, and tying counted fringe.

PLEASE NOTE
This is a digital PDF pattern — no physical item will be posted. The finished angels are hanging decorations, not toys.
