Description
The table set that makes Friendsgiving feel like an occasion: four big maple leaf coasters in mixed autumn colourways, and four napkin rings each carrying a little two-layer leaf medallion. One solid Burnt Orange coaster, one Rust with a gold edge, one Gold with chestnut-brown veins, one Burgundy with a gold edge; two Rust rings and two Gold rings to match. From our Aussie family shop, a joyful nod to our American friends’ Thanksgiving table — the same autumn palette runs through both pieces, so the table looks gathered, not matched.
PLEASE NOTE — HONESTLY: the napkin rings are the crochet item — the cloth napkins they dress are your own (the pattern includes no napkin), and the wine glasses, plates, cutlery, real pumpkins and pinecones in the photos are the setting only. The coasters are DK cotton: perfect for cold glasses and warm mugs, and honestly described — they are coasters, not trivets for oven-hot dishes.
WHAT’S INSIDE THE 12-PAGE PDF
• Maple Leaf Coasters ×4 (about 14 × 13 cm plus stem) — a full stitch chart AND complete written rows, both generated from the same chart grid so they can never disagree, plus surface slip-stitch veins, a stem, and a counted edge round (154 stitches — the count is the grid’s own outline) that carries the contrast gold edging on three of the four colourways
• Leaf Napkin Rings ×4 (2 Rust, 2 Gold) — a plain 26-stitch band seamed into a 13 cm ring, with a layered medallion of two small flat leaves (back leaf in the band colour, front leaf in a contrast), each leaf’s written rows AND mini chart generated from the same width models
• A yarn totals table up front — every piece and every colour costed in metres, yards, grams and 50 g balls, counted stitch by stitch (the whole set: 4,460 stitches, about 110 m — one ball of each of the five colours)
THE DETAILS
• US crochet terms throughout, with a UK equivalents table
• Gauge: 20 sc sts × 22 rows = 10 cm, 4.0 mm hook, DK (8 ply) cotton in five colours
• Every stitch count in the pattern is generated from the design data — chart and written rows from one grid, medallion rows from one width model — so if your count matches the bracket, you are exactly on track
