Description
🏡 Crochet Home Vol 2 — 12 original crochet patterns (PDF, 28 pages).
Dress the whole kitchen in Aussie crochet! Seven animal-face coasters and a gum leaf coaster, two dishcloths and two washcloths — all flat work in cotton DK, from our Aussie family shop. The coaster faces star Australia's favourites — koala, kangaroo, wombat, quokka, platypus, kookaburra and cockatoo — and the cloths carry Australia's native flowers: gum leaf, waratah, golden wattle and gum blossom.
This collection includes 12 original patterns: Koala Face Coaster, Kangaroo Face Coaster, Wombat Face Coaster, Quokka Face Coaster, Platypus Face Coaster, Kookaburra Face Coaster, Cockatoo Face Coaster, Gum Leaf Coaster, Gum Leaf Dishcloth, Waratah Dishcloth, Wattle Washcloth and Gum Blossom Washcloth.
Each of the 12 patterns includes:
• Its own dedicated solo photo page — every pattern photographed individually
• Pattern-at-a-glance box (type, finished size, pieces, yarn, level)
• Full round-by-round and row-by-row instructions in US crochet terms, with the stitch count stated at the end of every round and row
• The pack's shared construction — coaster discs on the +6 increase ladder, and cloths as honest squares in rows with a counted border round — plus appliqué faces, leaves and flowers
• Step-by-step assembly and finishing, plus a maker's tip for every piece
Make a stack of koala and quokka coasters for your own table, stitch the waratah dishcloth as a housewarming gift, or work the whole set for a kitchen that smiles back at you. Aussie makers will recognise every face and flower from Australia itself; everyone else gets the happiest coasters at the table. Worked in cotton, these Australian designs absorb, wash and last — an Aussie kitchen set with gum leaves and wattle worked in the Australian way, one relaxing evening at a time.
Skill level: Confident beginner. 100% cotton or high-cotton-blend DK / light-worsted yarn, 3.5 mm (US E-4) hook (cotton strongly recommended — acrylic coasters skid and acrylic dishcloths do not absorb). Finished sizes: coasters about 12 cm (4.75 in) across; dishcloths about 17 cm (6.75 in) square; washcloths about 16 cm (6.25 in) square. Honest notes from the patterns: a crocheted coaster is a table protector, not a trivet — no pots straight off the stove; the cockatoo coaster's crest stands proud, so mugs rest on its lower half; mugs are not included.
CROCHET PATTERN only — not finished items. This is a digital PDF download; no physical item will be shipped.
