Every ornament carries a charted year panel across its front, and the year it charts is the year the couple married: chart the wedding year, make this year's ornament for this year's anniversary, hang it on the tree, and do it again next Christmas until the tree tells the whole story. These are true Future Heirlooms — whimsical, hand-knitted little anniversaries that come out of the keepsake box every year with the story attached. The worked example on the cover design is honest anniversary arithmetic: a couple married in 2002 celebrates their 25th, silver, anniversary in 2027 — and the pack includes a full charted number set (0–9) plus a chart-your-own-year guide, so any wedding year is possible for any couple.

• Traditional anniversary materials woven in where they truly belong: silver-grey yarns and embroidered silver rings for 25, gold yarns for 50, pearl white for 30, ruby red for 40, a blue-and-white china palette for 20, pale sparkle crystal yarns for 15, a silver-blue tin palette for 10, warm wood browns for 5, and a cream-and-white paper palette for 1
• Two story-first designs: the Kookaburra "Every Year Since" Bauble (a couple motif — chart the couple's own start year) and the Emu "Our Story So Far" Bauble (a blank-ish front with a tiny charted heart, plus a flat year tag you chart with your own wedding year, hallmark-style)
• Nine bauble covers, each shaped its own way — a continuous ladder crown, a swirl crown, triple decreases, a three-point crown and more — all fitting standard 6 cm baubles, with stitch counts on every round
• A mini stocking with a wedge heel decreased on knit AND purl rows (14 sts to 8 and back to 14) and a toe decreased on every round, plus a flat heart grown row by row from its point and a garter-centre star — counts on every row and round
• Ears, beaks, bills, spikes and patches knitted separately and sewn on last, so every Aussie character sits perfectly
