Description
🌅 Gumleaf Sunset — a thick, cosy three-piece set for women: knee-high socks, gloves and a beanie in terracotta and sage, with gum leaves — and one little kangaroo — knitted right in.
🧶 WHAT'S INSIDE
• Thick knee-high socks — top-down from a sage ribbed cuff, with rope cables, calf shaping and a neat wrap-and-turn short-row heel. Design A carries a trailing gum-leaf spray; Design B a little kangaroo over a smaller spray — the designed odd pair as pictured, or knit two of either design for a classic matching pair
• Matching gloves — sage with two thin terracotta stripes, worked flat and seamed with an inline thumb gusset and proper full fingers
• Matching beanie — terracotta, with a sage gum-leaf band at the brim, easy knit columns, a spiral crown and a fluffy sage pom
• 23 pages, every row and round written out with stitch counts for all three sizes, every chart printed as a grid AND written out row by row
📏 SIZES
Women's S, M and L throughout — socks by shoe size, gloves by hand circumference, beanie by head circumference — with full measurement tables in inches and centimetres, gauge and swatch instructions, and a complete yarn totals table (grams, metres/yards and 50 g balls for every colour, for every piece and for the whole set).
🪡 SKILL LEVEL
Intermediate — stranded colourwork, cables, working in the round and grafting, all explained step by step. Chunky (bulky) yarn throughout — thick and cosy is the whole point.
💛 YOU'LL LOVE IT IF…
You dress in sunset colours all year round, and you want socks that actually reach the knee — with a little Australian wildlife hiding in the colourwork, from our small Aussie family shop.
🎁 PERFECT FOR
Bush walks at golden hour, autumn markets, camping trips and anyone who loves a kangaroo — a beautiful handmade gift set, too.
