📖 WHAT'S INSIDE

🧵 TWO WAYS TO APPLIQUÉ
New to appliqué, or coming back to it? Method A (fusible web) is quick and forgiving — trace, fuse, stitch around the edge and the block is done. Method B (needle-turn) gives the traditional hand-finished edge. Every block chapter lays out its pieces in sewing order, and the templates in the PDF are the verified geometry itself, so what you cut is exactly what the placement diagram shows.
⭐ THE SOUTHERN CROSS BLOCK
The Southern Cross block is drawn the way it appears on the flag — exactly five stars in their true positions, the four main stars seven-pointed and little Epsilon Crucis smaller and five-pointed between Beta and Alpha. The star positions in this pattern were measured against the official flag construction and matched with zero deviation — no scatter, no extras, just the Cross as every Australian knows it.
