Description
At Dusky Creek, where the water runs slow and golden under the gum trees and the creek moonrise is about to begin, the animals of the Australian creek are gathering for the grand goodnight. Aussie Bedtime Stories Vol 173 gathers six original Australian bedtime stories for ages 3–7, each with a gentle ending — stories about bravery in small splashes, stillness that catches what rushing misses, being big and gentle, a light meant to be shared, and slow eyes that see what fast eyes miss.
WHAT'S INSIDE — 6 STORIES, 27 PAGES
• Nardoo's Brave First Dive — a story about how bravery comes in small splashes
• Oriana's Patient Perch — a story about how stillness catches what rushing misses
• Perentie's Gentle Feet — a story about how being big means being gentle
• Quandara's Lantern Swim — a story about how your light is meant to be shared
• Rivergum's Slow Parade — a story about how slow eyes see what fast eyes miss
• Sandlewood's Grand Goodnight — a story about the biggest goodnight of all, beneath the creek moonrise
Every story in this Australian collection ends gently and sleepily, with soft, unhurried language made for reading aloud. It's a cosy way to share a little piece of Australia at bedtime — one Aussie animal at a time — and a lovely pick for Aussie families, Australian classrooms, and little readers everywhere who love gentle animal tales.
