Every animal is built the same honest way: a sphere-ladder body and head, with ears, muzzles, bills, beaks, wings, spikes and tails as separate counted pieces sewn on. No costumes, no gimmicks — just the animals themselves, made to be hugged, lined up on the shelf, and kept for years.
This collection includes 12 original patterns: Koala (about 15 cm), Kangaroo with Joey (about 16 cm; joey about 5 cm), Wombat (about 14 cm), Quokka (about 14 cm), Platypus (about 14 cm), Echidna (about 14 cm, plus spikes), Kookaburra (about 15 cm), Cockatoo (about 16 cm including crest), Wallaby (about 15 cm), Bilby (about 17 cm including ears), Tasmanian Devil (about 14 cm) and Emu (about 17 cm).
Each of the 12 patterns includes:
• Its own dedicated solo photo — every animal photographed individually, no repeats
• Pattern-at-a-glance box (type, honest finished size from the stated gauge, pieces, yarn, level)
• Full round-by-round instructions in US crochet terms ONLY, with the stitch count stated at the end of EVERY round and row (807 counted rounds and rows in this book)
• Asserted amigurumi sphere ladders for bodies and heads (magic ring increases to a stated maximum, plain rounds, mirror decreases), plus ears, muzzles and limbs as separate small pieces with their own counts
• The kangaroo's real pouch with a tiny joey (his own mini body, head, ears and muzzle), the echidna's 10 cream spikes, and the cockatoo's 5 fanned crest spikes
• Step-by-step assembly and a maker's tip for every animal
• An honest eyes note in every pattern: safety eyes are fine for older children and collectors — embroidered eyes recommended if the toy is for a child under 3
