Description
The whole Thanksgiving kitchen bench, crocheted. This is the full pattern pack for our second Thanksgiving kitchen set: two hanging towel toppers with scalloped shell fan edges, a grooved pumpkin cosy that dresses a plain storage jar, two grooved bench pumpkins plus a bonus mini for the jar lid, three maple leaf coasters worked from a stitch chart, two bright orange slice coasters, and three little two-tone acorns to scatter down the bench. Eighteen pieces in all, counted stitch by stitch — 7,903 stitches of pure autumn.
PLEASE NOTE — TWO HONEST THINGS. (1) THE TOPPERS: this pattern makes the crocheted TOPPER ONLY — the tea towel hanging under each one is your own. The topper’s eyelet row is worked for the job: the pattern shows you exactly how to thread and gather your towel through it, and it pulls out again for washing. (2) THE JAR: the cosy is sized for a standard 500 ml mason jar (body about 8.6 cm across, the usual preserving jar) — the jar itself is not included, it is a fit reference only, and the pattern gives the one-line adjustment for other jar sizes. The oven, rail, cinnamon sticks and bench in the photos are the setting only.
WHAT’S INSIDE THE 18-PAGE PDF
• Hanging Towel Toppers ×2 (Cream and Rust, about 20 cm wide) — a true semicircle dome (+6 dc a row, so the fan lies flat) with an eyelet row, a 15-shell scalloped fan edge, a centre tab and a chain hanging loop
• Pumpkin Jar Cosy (Rust) — base laddered to 54 sts and asserted against the 500 ml jar it must fit, 18 wall rounds, a BLO rim, and 8 yarn cinch lines that pull the wall into a pumpkin belly; ribbed Sage Green stalk and flat leaf on the rim
• Grooved Pumpkins ×2 + Bonus Mini — Mustard (about 11 cm), Orange (about 10 cm) and a 7 cm mini sized to sit on the jar lid; smooth single-crochet spheres with the grooves pressed in with wrapped yarn, each with its own stalk and leaf
• Maple Leaf Coasters ×3 (Rust, Gold, Brown, about 12 cm) — a full stitch chart AND complete written rows, both generated from the same chart grid so they can never disagree, plus surface slip-stitch veins and stems
• Orange Slice Coasters ×2 (about 11.5 cm) — eight segments worked from a data model: the Cream pith stitch is named by number in every round, with a Cream pith ring and an Orange rind to finish
• Acorns ×3 — smooth Tan nuts under domed Bark Brown caps profiled to sit exactly on the nut’s shoulders, each with a tiny stalk
• A yarn totals table up front — every piece and every colour costed in metres, yards, grams and 50 g balls, counted stitch by stitch (the whole pack: 237 m — one ball of each of the nine colours makes everything)
