📖 WHAT'S INSIDE
• Socks in 2 sizes: 0–6 and 6–12 months (foot lengths 9.5 and 11.5 cm) — a matched pair in both sizes
• The miniature flag motif chart (18 stitches wide) placed centred on the front of the leg, with its written rounds
• Heel flap and turned heel written out in full — the turn was simulated stitch by stitch so the counts are exact
• Gusset pickups and decreases with after-round counts printed, and a fully written rounded wedge toe with Kitchener grafting in full

⭐ THE FLAG, DONE PROPERLY
At 16 stitches wide the flag is at its physical floor, and the pattern says so plainly: the Union Jack's diagonals simplify to the nearest stitch. What is NOT stylised is the Southern Cross — the five fly stars are placed at the official positions and measured back: exactly five, Epsilon the smallest, the Federation Star found below the canton.
