• Full round-by-round and row-by-row instructions in US crochet terms, with the stitch count stated at the end of every round and row
• Step-by-step assembly for each interactive element (the zip and the dowel are bought separately, not included; the lacing cord stays tethered to its page)
• A maker's tip for every design
SAFETY — please read: the quiet-book buttons in this book are CROCHETED buttons sewn on firmly with many passes of thread (supervised play) — or replace them with crocheted buttons as the pattern directs; never use loose plastic buttons for under-3s. Quiet-book play is supervised. Garlands and wall decor are DECOR to hang securely out of baby's reach — the Leaf Cot Garland hangs high on the wall, never on or in the cot. Embroider features instead of using plastic safety eyes for under-3s.
Skill level: Confident beginner. Soft DK baby yarn, 3.5 mm (US E-4) hook. Quiet-book pages about 24 x 23 cm; cushions about 28-30 cm.
